Where to park your car if you are staying in our holiday rentals

Parking Fees near our holiday rentals
Parking fees of 1 EUR per hour apply on Grellstraße, and Dunckerstraße from Monday – Saturday between 9 am and 12 at night. Higher fees apply in more lively areas for example 2 EUR on Wichertstraße and around the Kollwitzplatz and 3 EUR near the Max-Schmeling-Halle during special events. Sundays and bank holidays are free to park.
Parking meters are on the street. Be sure to bring enough change.
It is also possible to pay via mobile phone, however, we don't recommand it as this method necessitates an initial sign-up. Additionally, extra fees may be incurred by your phone provider.
It is mandatory to
display the parking ticket
within the vehicle in a manner that ensures its clear visibility from the exterior.
Where to park for free when you are staying in our vacation apartments
As of 14.8.2024, Friedrichshain still has some areas with free public street parking. Parking is
free of charge on Strassmannstraße and the surrounding areas, so here you can park your car
right outside our holiday apartments (S1
&
S2). There are plans to turn it into a paid area, so be careful and double check that this information is still up to day in case there were recent changes which we aren't aware off.
A good alternative, when you are staying in our holiday apartments on Wichertstraße or Dunckerstraße, is to park your car further north, where parking fees don’t apply.
- You can for example park your car on Schonensche Straße or Ostseestraße, which is only 600 meters away from the Wichertstraße (WI) and Dunckerstraße (D1 & D2) holiday apartments respectively,
- or on Pieskower Weg, which is near our Grellstraße (GG, G3, GS, G4) holiday rentals. You can then walk back to your apartment.
